We are welcomed to the “Hawaii of Europe”, to an island that is known for its extraordinary beauty with crater lakes, lush green hills, thermal waters, and a paradisal atmosphere. Experience hiking to waterfalls and volcanic crater lakes, walking in silence on high scenic paths, possibly meeting whales and dolphins in their wild environment, and the most important part – you will take the journey within to new depths and new heights.
What awaits you?
- Daily meditations and talks to awaken your soul.
- Visualizations and teachings.
- Hiking excursions in different environments, including through jungle-like forests to waterfalls and volcanic crater lake (Lagoa do Fogo).
- Cetacean watching boat excursion. Let’s hope for whales and/or dolphins!
- Time for solitary contemplation and renewal. Our B&B has a private garden and a swimmingpool. Walking distance into the small town of Maia.
- Breakfast buffets. Group dinners at local restaurants.
And we will explore how God is part of our inner and outer experiences, also as we connect with the beauty in nature. This exploration takes us deeper into alignment with purpose, meaning and action, but also into a profound experience of Love as the language of the Divine.
When and where is this taking place?
- Dates: October 20-25th, 2026. Tuesday-Sunday.
- Location: Maia, Sao Miguel Island, Azores Portugal (in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean).
- Time: We will start the retreat and meet up in the garden on Tuesday October 20th at 4.30pm. You are welcome to arrive and check-in from 3pm. The retreat ends after breakfast and check out on Sunday 25th.
- Flights go to João Paulo II Airport on São Miguel, Azores. The town of Maia is 40 mins by taxi from Ponta Delgada and the airport. For an over night stay there are many hotels in Ponta Delgada.
We will stay 5 nights at beautiful bed & breakfast Solar de Lalém in the small coastal village of Maia. The building is a renovated 1700s mansion with a private garden. Shared room or single room options.
Who is Human+Divine Azores Retreat for?
Human+Divine Azores Retreat welcomes women and men who feel drawn to the journey of inner exploration and the path of “from within – to without”.
Perhaps you have been on a spiritual path for years and are ready for a deeper immersion. Perhaps life has been calling you toward something more meaningful and you haven’t yet found the space to listen. Perhaps you simply know, as I think most of us do, that God Source, a Higher Consciousness, is present in nature, in silence, in community, and you are open to five days fully inside that knowing.
Or perhaps the Azores have been calling you, and now is the time to listen.
Please note, that group participants need to have a physical ability to hike approx. 11 kilometers, where some parts can be steep, muddy or rocky.
The retreat will be held in English.

Total cost includes accommodation, breakfast, group dinners at local restaurants, lunches during excursions, and workshop time with Camilla.

Please note: Deposit / Booking Fee is 5 000 SEK (approx 470 EUR). This is to be paid at the time of the reservation.

Your Guide
Camilla Kumara will guide the group inwards, opening up to the soul and into deeper embodiment – all in a warm and caring setting. Camilla has previously arranged and guided 11 energywork journeys over 4 different countries since 2018. Besides the retreats she has published a book “Voice of Mary” (2025), an oracle card deck “New Earth Portals” (2022), and several course programs online and in Sweden. With a solid background in transpersonal psychology together with intuitive gifts such as akashic records reading, Camilla continues to set the tone for grounded yet profound spiritual work.

Booking terms
Booking Your place is reserved once your registration has been received and your deposit has been paid.
Payment A deposit secures your spot. The deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is to be paid at given date. For late bookings, dates for remaining balance will be given individually. All payments are made to Bright Auroras via card, Klarna or other payment form through the webshop.
Cancellation Policy Deposits are non‑refundable. Cancellations made more than 60 days before the retreat start date receive a refund of the balance paid (minus the deposit). Cancellations made within 60 days of the retreat start date are non‑refundable.
You may transfer your spot to another participant if approved in advance.
Travel & Insurance Travel to and from the retreat location is not included. Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel and are warmly encouraged to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical needs, and unexpected changes. For some retreats a joined transport from a central location may be available, please check each retreat.
Health & Participation By booking, you confirm that you are able to participate in the retreat activities as described in the detailed information. While all retreats include time in nature, some retreats are more physically demanding than others when it comes to hiking for example. The retreat is not a substitute for medical care.
Liability Bright Auroras cannot take responsibility for personal belongings, travel disruptions, injuries, or events outside the organizer’s control. We do our utmost to create a safe, supportive, and harmonious environment for all. In the case of an extreme situation outside the organizer’s control, preventing the retreat to take place, we will do our best to reschedule or find another solution.

With its elevation, purity, and raw wilderness, Abisko with its famous Laponian Gate, provides a rare sense of spaciousness and clarity. The wide horizons and quiet expansiveness support participants who are seeking direction, perspective, or a renewed sense of purpose.
